2 Months!

My blog posts are getting fewer and far between.. Dallin has been in this world for officially two months now! It's so hard to believe that he's only been here that long because, while time flies and he's growing up so fast, it seems like he's always been a part of our family.

It's been so fun seeing his little personality come out as he gets bigger. For those of you who don't have the chance to be around my little munchkin, here is the skinny.

• He started rolling over at 6 weeks! (tummy to back, and he's probably within days of doing back to tummy)
• He totally has his mama's blue eyes :)
• His favorite past time is hanging out on his activity mat. Best purchase ever! He can totally stay entertained for up to 45 minutes on that thing. He'll laugh and coo at the lights, get his ab workout doing leg lifts, and practices his boxing skills on the poor dangly things. He's got quite the aim!

• He is warming up to the idea of baths. He won't bawl anymore which is big progress :)
• Now if only we could get him to warm up to getting burped. I stop him eating maybe 3 times during a feeding because he'll get belly aches if I don't, and he does NOT like that one bit. He acts as if he'll never get any more food as long as he lives! Actually, it's more like he won't live if he doesn't get any more food. We have a mini wrestling match just about every single time while he throws his cute little baby tantrums. He is one strong baby. What can I say? My boy loves to eat! Can you blame him?
• On Easter he slept through the night for the first time!! It was a wonderful Easter gift to me :) Pretty much since then he goes to bed about 10:30ish and wakes up between 5:45 and 7:00. It's a dream come true with the exception of the mornings where he thinks nighttime is over and it's time for playtime :)

We had Dallin's two month doctor's appointment the other day, and his a big healthy boy! He weighed 11 lbs. 13 oz (51st percentile) and was 24 inches long (93rd percentile!).

Dax graduates from BYU this week (woo hoo!!), and we have Dallin's baby blessing next Sunday, so I'll put up pictures soon after from those. We can't wait to see all of the family coming in town!
