We officially have a one year old on our hands! I always knew that time would go by quickly, but really? Where did my little baby go?? We had a nice little birthday party with our families last weekend. My dad made his best smoked brisket to date, and Dallin LOVED all the attention and getting to show off in front of everyone. Here are some highlights:
He liked the singing so much that he clapped for everyone :)
Being the little kid that he is, his favorite part about opening presents wasn't the actual gifts- it was all the paper and boxes he got to play with...
It's a little hard to read but this says, "I get cranky without my Blue Bell." My sentiments exactly.
It wasn't Blue Bell... Actually he wasn't a fan of the cold ice cream :)
As far as other updates go, Dallin started taking his first steps during the Super Bowl a few weeks ago. He hasn't been willing to take more than three or four steps on his own, but this weekend he got a lot braver. I don't think it'll be too much longer before my little munchkin turns into a little runner!
Dax's brother Brock went back out on his mission after recovering from a back injury. These were some airport shots we took before he left for LA:

We had our good friends Stephen, Stephanie, and their little boy Jayden over a few weeks ago. Dallin and Jayden are 5 weeks apart, and they've been friends from the get-go. I thought these pictures were too cute not to post :)
They were a few months old here with matching diapers :)
